Prayer is laying hold of God's willingness:
Praise can lift the burden of grief The
highest privilege of man is to talk to God
God answers our prayers not because of our
goodness but because of our position in Jesus
Christ
Prayer is an interruption of personal
ambition
The christian life is a battleground not a
playground
Prayer does not change God but changes him
who prays
Prayer is not a duty but a delight
Prayer crowns God with the honour and glory
due to His name, and God crowns prayer with
assurance and comfort.
Prayer requires that we stand in God's
presence .. proclaiming to ourselves and to
others that without God we can do nothing.
Prayer is essentially man standing and
responding before His maker in wonder, awe and
humility
Prayer is faith laying hold on God's promises
Life's outlook is a prayerful uplook
An attitude of prayer will create an
atmosphere of prayer
Our prayer and God's mercy are like 2 buckets
in a well, while one ascends, the other descend
The end of worry is prayer and the end of
prayer is peace
Prayer is a powerful thing because God has
bound it to himself
Prayer is the channel of all blessings and
secret of power and life
When God's people turn to pray they are on
the way to revival
Prayer changes everything, it changes the one
who prays and it changes the one prayed for
Scripture has much to say about this important
subject.
