This film is about a family's struggles with finances, husband and wife communication, father and son relationship  and husband's auto-used car business-Jay Austin Auto.  In a small town of Albany Jay ran his business by overcharging his customers to achieve maximum profits from naive customers including the Reverend of his church i.e  by sweet talking them and hiding the truth about car's conditions. His way of doing business and family life was in  anxiety or  "serene chaos".  For over 2 years, Jay had been overcharging his customers, and he felt something was wrong. God was dealing with him through his wife. Initially she was difficult, and shown little respect as well as critical of his approach towards the church-  such as "empty envelope" tithe.

Jay was facing US$ 32,000 outstanding bank payment for the lot  and sales were slow. In the midst of all these, he decided to change his ways- by changing the company policy against overcharging. Staff walkout because of the potential lower commissions. Jay committed the lot to the Lord in prayers.

Without him knowing - the TV media was conducting a undercover investigation of 6 auto  used car business because of their dishonest reputation.  One of the undercover  agent (staff) from the TV media filed a commendable report on Jay's honest policy in the news. God move in mysterious ways. Buyers came queuing in to buy cars. On a single day, Jay was able to  sell most of the cars and make the full  outstanding loan payment with a handsome profit of $39,123.  

Jay confessed to his wife to change his ways of doing business,  be a better husband and a better father to his son Todd. The change was still in progress. Jay and his wife started to look at the total amount of every single car that they have overcharged over the last 2 years. The amount came to $39,123 exactly.  It was God speaking to them again. One by one, Jay began the difficult process of approaching the ex-buyers to apologize and refund the amount he overcharged. Some were blessed because they have a financial need due to layoffs..etc.

Soon after that, however, Jay's ex-Staff  exposed Jay's overcharging in the last 2 years to discredit him against the recent TV report on his honesty. Again with God's grace, he was defended by the people who have purchased car and all stood up to speak about Jay's apologies and refund. On the day of TV 's report on the truth, Jay's wife gave birth to a baby whom they named Faith.

Jay and his family commit their family to God in prayers and God was there to rescue them and meet their needs in ways beyond our  human understanding. Would you do the same ?
